is currently homeless since we had to move out of our Covington location.
They tore down the building! |
FARS has a very fine station capable of working the following:
- An HF station for 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters
(CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK31)
- A VHF station for 2 meters.
- A satellite station capable of working most of the OSCARS.
- A packet station for 2 meter VHF.
QSLing K6YA
QSLs for contacts using the FARS callsign are handled by Phil Hawkins
KA6MZE.
Return QSLs should be sent in care of (c/o) K6MA via the bureau.
Miscellaneous
FARS members in good standing are encouraged to operate
the FARS radio station, after passing a brief training session
on the equipment.
