FARS Winter Banquet - February 25, 2022 (Event Canceled) [2021] [2022] [2023]
The FARS Winter Banquet is Friday evening, February 25, 2022. The Foothills Amateur Radio Society (FARS) presents this ham radio event and fete. This annual event is open to anyone who wants to attend, but reservations are required.
Sorry, this event has been canceled.
Because of concerns about the widespread Omicron variant of Covid19,
FARS has decided to cancel this event.
While conditions are expected to improve in the next few weeks,
it's not clear the people will feel comfortable with
an event like this before the end of February.
Those who have signed up already can expect to receive
full refunds over the next couple of weeks.
Banquet COVID-19 Rules:
The following rules are being imposed for the safety
of our attendees:
- You must provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination upon arrival at the banquet.
- You must wear an appropriate face mask in the banquet room, except when eating, or speaking to the audience.
- You must maintain appropriate spacing from others.
- Don't attend the banquet if you are feeling ill, are at particular risk, or cannot abide by these rules.

Banquet Sign-ups are Closed
All sign-ups should be received by 6:00 PM on
February 21st.
Mailed sign-ups should be posted by February 17th
to be received on time.
All late sign-ups (those received after 6:00 PM Monday,
February 21st) are handled on a best effort basis
(that is we must confirm with the restaurant if they have room
for additions and your meal choice may be modified).
Be sure we have your current email address and phone number
so we may contact you.
The on-line sign-up is recommended after February 17th.
Paper Sign-up - You may print this flyer, (which includes a sign-up form) fill it out and mail along with your check for payment. We should receive your sign-up by 6:00 PM Monday, February 21st. Last minute sign-ups should use the on-line form. See above for late sign-ups.
On-line Sign-up - You must logon to this web site to sign up and use PayPal to make your payment.
Banquet attendees are encouraged to wear their club badges to show their club pride. We have stick on name tags for those who don't have or forget to wear their club badge.
