GENLOG 32 Installation version 7
- Download
GenLog325_Install.exe,
then execute to start installer.
- The installer creates the directory C:\GenLog32
and installs the program and data files there.
The installer adds shortcuts to the start menu.
GENLOG32 Setup
- Find General Logger under Programs on the Start button.
Start General Logger to complete program setup.
- Enter the following information:

Click on the UTC Offset, enter UTC Offset -> 7, click Done,
then Continue.
- Click on green "Contest" rectangle to pop up a dialog
to select "ARRL Field Day".
- Click on Cyan (light blue) "Enter new filename" to specify a
filename of "FD09X" where X should be "SSB" for the Sideband station,
"CW" for the CW/Digital station, "VHF" for the VHF satellite
station, "LB" for 160/80 meter station.
Updating to version 7.47
After confirming that the program is working and setting
it up for Field Day,
Download gen325upd
and execute to update the program.
This program runs a simple Zip extractor to overwrite
and update some of the files in C:\GenLog32.
After updating the program run it again to insure that
it working correctly.
Operating
Start up General Logger from the Start button.
Select the correct Field Day log file for your station.
Follow the instruction above to create a log file,
if you need to create a new one.
