GENLOG 32 Installation

  1. Download GenLog325_Install.exe link then execute to start installer.
  2. The installer creates the directory C:\GenLog32 and installs the program and data files there.

GENLOG32 Setup

  1. Create a shortcut for GenLog32 on the desktop by clicking the right mouse button, and selecting Shortcut. Enter the path C:\GenLog32\genlog32.exe (or use Browse to find the path) and name the shortcut GenLog32.
  2. Double click the new shortcut to start GenLog32.
  3. Enter the following information:

Save backup to A:\ (You may leave this as none for now)
Name, CALL FARS, K6YA
State/Prov CA
County SCL
FD Class 3
Power/ClassA
Sec/Prov SCV
Click on the UTC Offset, enter UTC Offset -> 7, click Done, then Continue.
  1. Click on green "Contest" rectangle to pop up a dialog to select "ARRL Field Day".
  2. Click on Cyan (light blue) "Enter new filename" to specify a filename of "FD09X" where X should be "SSB" for the Sideband station, "CW" for the CW/Digital station, "VHF" for the VHF satellite station, "LB" for 160/80 meter station.

Operating

Click on the KM icon (General Logger) to activate the Genlog32 program.
